has lost his mind, and is a danger to himself…he could go off and forget a pot on the stove…
Sometimes he’s all there, and knows he is forgetting things, other times, he doesn’t know who we are..
Does SS pay to have someone come in and care for him? He served 4 years in the Military, so I guess that makes him eligible for benefits…I just don’t know where to start…

Has he seen a doctor? Maybe he can get some medication that slows down Alzheimers.
And you may need to hire a nurse to look after him, if he is by himself.
If you do see a doctor I would also ask them about what else there is you can do to help him.
