sash asked:
When a person suffers from Alzheimers, then what is the extent of the memory loss. My basic question is will he even forget things like “swimming” and “cycling”, which people used to say a person never forgets.

If you had it,the minute you finished writing this question you would forget that you had……That’s Alzheimer’s effects….
initially most people with altzeimers will forget little everyday things like the name of something, why they walked into a room or what they wanted in the fridge. (people under stress can do this too!) But yes eventually they will forget things like swimming or cycling, how to feed themselves or even how to close a door. Things they have been doing for a lifetime become a complete mystery. Unfortunately it’s a progressive disease with sadly no cure so far.
