what are some classic signs of a person having dementia?

this person is making irrational decisions that don’t make any sense. How can I pinpoint if he/she has dementia going on or if he/she is just out to hurt family?

Typically this happens in older people. You would see a sudden change in their personality. They could make irrational decisions….forget things a lot easier, and start slurring their words. The best thing to do is to get this person to the doctor so they can perform the proper testing to confirm what the problem is.
