is there a good forum for this issue. my mom has this, im the only sibling close Im doin the best I can to help my dad but its gettin really rough, thanks.
I have been blessed to work on a state of the art, restraint free (physical and chemical) Alzheimer’s Unit for 12 years, I love my job. I take exception to part of this video (1.25) when the narrator who is from Johnson and Johnson( I might add.) is discussing lunch You FEED animals>>> you SERVE people. What a wonderful husband he is,,,, and what a wonderful wife she must have been.
My grandpa had alzheimers and it was sad for us to see his decline but it brought alot of us together as well. It makes me happy to hear they had over 60 years married. You are blessed to have had your parents as long as you do. it also makes me feel me and my girlfriend have a great shot at life together because we are a multiracial couple. may the lord continue to show your family mercy and give yoou strength threw the tough times.

I am only 43 years old–(female)-they say the neurologists I might becoming down with this—(I am having confusion and trouble communicating)–my memory is okay-last MRI showed mild atrophy (but the samething happened to my grandfather in his fourties (now me)!! Thank You. My mom has this, and it’s heartbreaking, sometimes I don’t know what to do or if I’m doing what’s right. I just pray and try to read her signs of communication. So every little bit of information helps. Again, Thank you
My mom who is 59 (yes i know its young) has Alzheimer’s since 2003. She lives at home with me and my father. 7 Years strong and going

Its very heart warming to see how her husband stood by her side. That’s real true love.I can only wish to have a man like that.
Yes that helped. Thank you.
You can embed it or favorite it. Does that help?
is it possible to download this?
my grandma had alzheimers. she died years ago. this brings back so many memories. it was so had watching her decline, even though i was just only about 12 years old. It was comical at times listening to her banter about not seeing me for weeks, when i just went to get a class of water or when she wondered when i shaved my moustache (I am 23 and still can’t grow one). She was married to my grandpa for 50 years and suddenly forgot his name. I
MDA Telethon:Why not start a Telethon for Alzheimer’s/ Dementia too?
MDA Telethon is great and I just made a pledge to the MDA Telethon.
I think what if someone started a Telethon for Alzheimer’s/ Dementia ?
How would someone start a Telethon for Alzheimer’s/ Dementia if they wanted to?
My grandpa is in the last stage of Alzheimer’s. It’s has been extremely hard to see his condition gradually get worse. Unfortunately he has hours left. We have been by his side for three days, and it won’t be much longer. It’s hard watching these videos and learning that my grandpa doesn’t know that his family is around him and that we are there for him. He probably can’t even reflect on his life. It’s like being gone before he has passed.
they live some long lives 91 and 92 i wanna live that long

I’m sorry, we can’t help you with that. We suggest that you consult your family physician , health care provider or an Alzheimer’s Disease website.

If you are on Aricept or Namenda, does it mean that you have Alzheimers because my best friends family will not tell me anything and I need to know!
Thank you. We appreciate that.
