Yes, they think it is partly genetic. Are trying to develop ways to test for it in extended families and to catch it early.
Since the cause of Alzheimer’s is not known as yet, It is possible that it could have a genetic component. But it could also be from substances absorbed thru the skin. Such as, soaps, detergents, perfumes, oils, etc. These can all be absorbed rapidly thru the skin which puts it immediately into the systemic venous system. This goes straight to the brain. The brain is a fatty organ with the best blood supply of all fat areas. If the blood vessels in the skin are dilated such as using hot water with the soap, it would be absorbed even faster. Fact or fiction?
