Alzheimers?

Alzheimer’s is genetic but that doesn’t mean you or your mom will have it. My grandma just died of Alzheimer’s in January. Her aunt and uncle (they were sister and brother) had Alzheimer’s but no one else had it.
I hope I never get Alzheimer’s. I spent the last 5 years caring for my grandma. It was very difficult working with her when she didn’t remember. It was heartbreaking to see her once brilliant mind, dwindle to nothing :’(!!!!
My mother-in-law has two siblings with alzheimers. Both of her parents had it too. Now my own mother has early stages of alzheimers. Do you know if there are any chat rooms – that people can vent in – compare stories or helpful hints, etc?
